Infant seat expiration Qs: the seat is expired what about the bases?
Do those have to be replaced as well? I'm seeing dollar signs for sure!

I don't have a solid answer but I am thinking yes, they have to be replaced...
I think the plastic is one of the things that are compromised so I am replacing mine...

how do u know if your infant seat is expired?
From what I read, a car seat (and base if it's an infant seat) should be replaced immediately following an accident or 5 years after the manufacture date which should be on the seat itself. HTH!

The Graco snugrides actually have xpiration dates on them.
They say "do not use seat after XXXXX"

Where can you locate where it says on the base do not use after 20xx? I can't find. I can only find the manufacturers date.
