Need advice please....infant stomach virus
The dreaded stomach virus has hit our house. DS1 and I welcomed in the New Year sick and although we are feeling better now we are definitely not 100%.
Now the baby has loose diapers and just threw up. DH is trying to rock him to sleep with little sips of pedialyte.
Any advice on what we can do for the baby? I've only dealt with this once before when DS1 was around the same age by my mind is blank.

My ped recommended Similac Expert Care for Diarrhea formula when DS had it. No dairy. Pedialyte for the first day and sips of pedialyte after. Stop the Diarrhea formula after they stop having diarrhea.
Hope you guys feel better soon!

Ugh, I really feel for you. I have no advice... my girlfriend's youngest DD has it really bad... vomiting and diarrhea since before Christmas and just can't shake it.. I have no first hand experience, but all I can think of is pedialite to restore his electrolytes if he'll take it.
I hope he gets better quickly.

Poor baby!
When Sienna has a stomach virus, we just try to keep her hydrated with the pedialyte and I make sure to give her water and nurse her.
I don't think there is much more you can do. Feel better Gregory! (And Lucas too)

there isn't too much you can do, unfortunately. Just give him pedialyte when you can and let him sleep it off as much as he can.
