My winter boots literally fell apart
I have a pair of Columbia boots that have kept me warm and dry for the last couple of winters and in the snow.
Yesterday I was walking and it almost felt like my boot was loose, actually both, but one more than the other.
When I got to work, I looked at my boots and they basically fell apart!   The top part of the boot that goes around your lower leg had SEPARATED from the lower part of the boot that goes around your foot!
 
What the hellll? And the other boot has the same thing happening, just not fully separated. Worst part? I had to wear them all day and go home with them too - no other shoes here that I could wear out in the snow.
I guess this really was the worst snow storm I've ever been in - my boots are proof 
That said, I need new snow boots. Recommend yours please!!! Warm and waterproof.

I love mine from Lands End...I would definitely contact Columbia though & tell them what happened, they should make good on their product.
