painting a 2 bedroom home? and floors
omg ! i think we just bought our first home !!!! its a 2 bd 2 bath coop......
so ladies i will be here alot alot alot asking questions!
it will need to be painted..... everything except bathrooms and kitchen... its about 1200 sq ft i think? it would be a couple dif colors any ideas ballllllpark cost wise ????
also it has great hardwood floors but will need to be...... varnished? is that the right word? to make glossy? any ideas cost?
sorry total tard with home owning.
if anyone has any rec's as well for people they use i would so appreciate it!!!!!!
the only thing this place need is paint, re gloss floors....some window treatments...maybe a few dif door knobs...and down the road when we have more money new closet doors and closet organizing thingy's lol
ty in advance for any help you can give..
btw its south shore nassaue area :)

... and new locks for the exterior doors. You have no idea how many people may have a key to your house.

everything is dependent on your room sizes... you may get by with just 1 gallon on paint per room, or it could be more... also depends on what color you are painting over and/or what color you're using on the wall... for instance, i have a VERY deep red in our tiny dining room... we had to go out and buy an additional gallon of paint bc it had to be painted 4x to get the shade it was suppossed to be... every gallon we bought cost us between $25-35 at HD and we used mostly the paint with the primer already in it

we bought a brand new 2bed/2bath condo and painted about a year later.
for pretty much the whole house (1700 sq. feet) about 4500!

I sent you FM  my house ( a little over 1500SQ FT) paint was under 3 k and floors were around 2 K (we put new flooring in a closet and had tiles ripped up etc) both did a great job I'm very we didn't bother to paint ourselves as I said in FM
