I used www.greatclubs.com and the recipient LOVED it. Its great because you can choose any length of subscription you want - a short as one month, as much as a year.

I used them as well. I bought DH a 3 month subscription for his Bday and it just ended. I am surprising him by renewing it for a few mths for Xmas because he really liked it and was sad the 3mths was over.

There is also beers of the world at 7-11 if you are interested. It's a 12 pack of different beer for $21.99... I know it's not monthly but it's still awesome.
