We usually do, but not this year. They try to give us a 3 day weekend, and since xmas is on sat, they gave Friday off.

We have off... only because Christmas Day is a weekend... when Christmas day is during the week we have off that day and half day on the 24th

We usually close early on Christmas Eve when Christmas day is a weekday, but being that its a weekend we have off Friday. Next year Christmas day is Sunday and I know already that we have the Monday after off

I usually work Christmas Eve (my office is open regular hours), but because Christmas is a Saturday this year I am off. Next year I'd be off the day after Christmas.

My company does the same thing! Its ubber annoying b/c we work from 8:30 - 12:00 and then they have a cater lunch for us from 12:00 -3:00pm and we HAVE to stay for the whole thing.  I mean I appreciate the food but I'd rather you add what you were going to spend on the lunch to our checks and let us loose at 12:00!!!

This year we are closed. For the most part we usually close, but I almost always take off if we are open. My family starts at 4pm on Christmas Eve.
