Samsonite Luggage set
I found this online at Sams Club. I am buying my parents luggage for Christmas. Do you think there are enough pieces for 2 people who travel once, maybe twice a year. I would have rathered the duffel bag be another regular suitcase but I am sure I can buy an additional piece elsewhere.
ETA: Or should I look elsewhere for a 5 pc. set??

Re: Samsonite Luggage set
We received 2 sets of a 5 pc set of Samsonite luggage from Sam's or our bridal shower. We each use a large bag when we go away for more than a week.
We've never used a whole 5 piece set at one time. I think this set would be plenty!

Re: Samsonite Luggage set
DH and I bought individual pieces at Macys during one of their sales. Got a great price on Atlantic luggage : two large suitcases and one small suitcase, both are spinners. That's easeir for me to handle than a rolling duffle, plus I can prop up my other bags on top.
That's more than enough for the both of us, and we usually travel for two weeks at at time. The only other bag I take is my camera bag and a tote for the plane.

Re: Samsonite Luggage set
How big are each of the rolling luggage pieces?
I only ask because we have Samsonite luggage and have a 29 inch, 26 inch and 2-22 inch.
The 22 inches are just too big for a carry on and it's frustrating!
If we pack the 29 inch full, we get charged an overage fee for weight.

I agree - we have 2 29 inches and 1 26 inches. We always end up only using the 26 inch because you can fill it and not have the charge, I wish I just had 2 26 inches and not any 29 inches.
Perhaps you could find a good price on the individual pieces - i.e. 2 26 inches, 2 carryons and not the duffel that you don't think they will use? JMO but I think a 3/4 piece set that they use is better than a 5 piece if you don't think they will ever use the duffel. Then you also have to find a place to store it (not sure if they have a lot of storage or not)
