possibly telling parents tomorrow...

we're hosting our first thanksgiving tomorrow for my family (just my parents, siblings, SIL and niece). i think it would be nice to tell everyone that we're pregnant tomorrow, but i'll be 7 weeks on Saturday so im not sure if it's too soon.

if we tell my parents tomorrow, we'll have to tell DH's parents next week when we see them for our christmas. they live out of state so we wont be seeing them again till next year.

do you think its too soon? we would tell our families not to tell everyone else until after christmas when we'll be 12 weeks. it's getting hard to keep the secret, but im scared of jinxing it!

I am in the same position. I will be 8 weeks saturday and am hosting our first thanksgiving with both our families. This is our 2nd so we are anxious to let it out. I figured what a perfect time to share the news. I say go for it. It will be a great surprise for everyone Chat Icon Good Luck!

i know exactly what you mean. I'm six weeks tomorrow, and only my sister and DH of course know. I want to tell my parents SO badly tomorrow, but I've decided not to until we hear the heartbeat, in two weeks. Although at that point, I'm probably just going to wait until Christmas.

there are plenty of people who tell earlier than that, so do what you feel comfortable with.

I think tomorrow sounds great! We only told a handful of people (my mom included) before the second trimester. But honestly, I would have wanted them to know no matter what the outcome was--support is always need through thick and thin!
