September 2010 mommies - how are we doing????
Hey ladies!!
Just wanted to see how mommies and babies are doing!!
Bobby was born 9/29 so he is almost 2 months old!
He is smiling so much now and growing each day! He like to lick things LOL - his hand, his bib, his play mat during tummy time - everything! Hope that's normal :)
How is everyone's baby doing with holding up the head? Bobby does better when he's on my lap or on my shoulder - it's wobbily bit pretty good I think! Tummy time - he likes to just turn his head to the side - he doesn't lift all that much during tummy time. Is that normal?
How about eating? Bobby was 8 lbs 4 oz back on October 29th (his one month) he does on average 4 oz each feeding about every 2-3 hours.
Let's hear updates! Post away ladies!

Hey!!! Juliana was born on 9/28...shes now weighing 11+lbs and is 22 inches...she also eats 4 oz a feeding.
She hates tummy time she just smothers her face on the ground lol...she is a very chill baby just sits there and stares around, but when shes hungry she will let you know.
She farts like her dad and burps like her mom

Aww fun thread! Mabel was born on 9/7 and is doing great! The neck thing is going well, though she is awful at traditional tummy time... she always rolls over onto her back when we put her on her tummy.. has been doing that since two weeks old  .
She is FASCINATED by her hands and plays with them all the time.. and loves putting them in her mouth.
Every day she does something new and exciting and it is so much fun to watch!

Ryan was born 9/8, so just turned 10 weeks. He weighed 12 lbs 3 oz at his 2 month appt, which doc said put him at the 50th percentile. He holds his head up so well, the only time I have to hold it is when he's tired. 
We haven't done much tummy time yet... interestingly my ped said to start it at 3 months... ?? Seems a bit late, judging by most other moms I know. Ryan is smiling all the time, and is starting to "notice" his hands and feet lately. He focuses on things really well... faces, movement, etc. I'm so sad that I have to go back to work in 2 weeks!  Where does the time go...

DS was born 9/21 and is a little man already 
He is 23 1/2 inches long and weighs 12 pounds already.
He can basically hold his head up on his own when we are holding him up, hates tummy time but we try to do it anyway. He is smiling and starting to belly laugh, melts my heart. He found his hands and is constantly playing with his fingers and making fists.
He is sleeping now a good 6 hours straight during the night so Mommy and Daddy are on cloud nine - LOL
I go back to work Monday
