I really don't want to take the 3 hour gtt!
I DID get a Saturday appointment with Sunrise Labs though, which Quest would not do, so that does help.
Does drinking it through a straw help?

No, a straw would slow things down! Just gulp it down, chug style, bring something to read/do and settle in..it's survivable!

UGHHH I just tried to get a saturday appointment with quest but they are booked... i may try and be a walk in.... I dread it so much- especially since this is my second time doing the 3 hours!!!

I had to do it with my second pregnancy. I was dreading it! I brought my laptop and that made the time go much faster!

I called to see if I could do it on a Saturday and the 3 locations said they don't do 3 hour ones on Saturday.  I asked them what people do and they said take off. Sunrise was much more accomodating. I hope you have better luck than I did with Quest!
