dinnerware: are these colors too earthy?
I usually tend to go with simple/modern decor and earthy colors.
are these too earthy?
I'm thinking of alternating the colors - dark - dinner plates; medium - salad plate; etc...
I wouldn't mind a pop of color, but I just can't find anything that I like. I found some mahogany red, but it's just not right (my walls are green tea). Blue is too cool for the room.
what about a charger underneath? could I use that to add excitement?

I love the dishes. For a pop of color, what about a dark/rusty organgy color placemats or napkins.

they are earthy, but i love them...

but I think I'm leaning towards the first, with an interesting placemat or charger.
