Cancun Review

Hey everyone

I just got back from Cancun yesterday, and figured I'd do a quick review to help anyone in the future.

We flew USAirways, which was eh, but the price we paid included the AI and airfare, and the price was amazing

Hotel: Riu Palace Las Americas

This hotel was beyond beautiful. The service was amazing, and our room was fantastic. My bf and I had such a wonderful time there, I can't say enough. It was very centrally located, and we were able to walk to the bars/shops with no problem.

We ate at the mexican, japanese, and steak restaurants for dinner, and were very pleased with all three. Just make sure you make your reservations as early as possible.

We also had a couples massage at the spa, and the prices were actually very reasonable.

Our trip was booked through cheapcaribbean.com, and everything went very smoothly. Would def. suggest them.

For tours, we went through cancun-discounts.com, and got GREAT prices on everything, and didn't have to worry about booking anything once we got down there.

Chichen-Itza:

We went on a 12 hour tour, which included the transportation, a stop at a cenote, lunch, and a tour of the ruins. I didn't realize how large they are, and we never would have figured them all out on our own.









We also booked a tour to swim with dolphins on Isla Mujeres, which was a ton of fun. This also included transportation, the swim, lunch, and we were also able to swim with stingrays, which terrified me-but I did it!
