cleaning person and tipping
If it is the person's own business and you are willing to pay them in cash, do you tip them every time? I always did but now I am using someone whose base price is a lot higher than my former cleaning lady's price. It is a team of 2 now, though.

I've never tipped a cleaning person. They work for themselves and get cash. All that money is theirs.

The only time I tip is for the holidays - I give her an extra $100.
