If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

I am the only coffee drinker in the house. I got a Tassimo 3 years ago and while I love it I wonder if I should ask for the Keurig single cup instead.

I like their cartridges are sold in Stop And Shop (where I shop most) and it seems as though they have a much larger selection.

Can you tell me which you prefer and why?

I love, love, love my Tassimo. Although it's a PITA to go to BBB all the time, I think the taste is closer to a brewed cup than the Keurig.

I am not sure, because I am not familiar with the Tassimo...but I really love my Keurig. I love that I can make drinks other than just coffee like tea, hot cocoa, iced coffee and iced tea. And there are SO many varieties of coffee/tea now. I get all excited when I see a new flavor. The best is Golden French Toast...it only comes out during the Holiday season...just picked up a Holiday multi-pack with that flavor from BB&B.

You can order Tassimo cups online and have them delivered every set number of weeks

ed: Also, Tassimo has "Skinny" cappucino's and latte's. Love those!

I love my Tassimo. DH and I get our cartridges at Target. BBB sells them too and has a bigger variety but they're more expensive there. We're not adventurous when it comes to our coffee, that's why the Tassimo works for us!

Re: If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

I live Tassimo just bc it has lattes and cappucinos

Keurig does not have that

I use the 20% off BBB coupons for the packages of cartridges. Sometimes Target has a good price on them too

I got the Tassimo for the starbucks edge too. However, I tried the Gevalia stuff and found it tasted much better.

It is a PIA and I often run out of coffee before I get to BBB. If you don't have anything else you want this year ask for the Keurig. If you have a Kohls charge wait for 30 percent off coupon and get it for yourself. I think you can always use both or try to CL the Tassimo if you LOVE the Keurig that much better.

Re: If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

Yeah, I love my Tassimo because I really really really love the Starbucks blend...that would stop me from getting another pod coffee machine. If my Tassimo broke down, I would get another one.

Here in the UK I can get (almost) all of the Tassimo pods at the supermarket. Don't your supermarkets carry them? The Starbucks one is actually cheaper at the supermarket than it is online.

Us Tassimo girls must stick together! Don't go to the dark side!

Re: If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

Love my Tassimo. I get coffee from Target, seems they have the best prices. My SIL has the Keurig, I've used it many times, but I love being able to make a latte if I like, so it's Tassimo for me!

Re: If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

Which Tassimo are you talking about? There are 4 different models on the BBB website.

Re: If I have the Tassimo do I want the Keurig??

I have a Tassimo at home and use the Keurig at work and I prefer the coffee and drinks from the Tassimo. I order my T-discs direct from Tassimo because we like the free trade and German coffee and the cappuccino drinks and we can't find those in the store easily.
