DH and I are home this week - what are some good places to go with a 12 month old?

We have all this time together since DH is home on vacation so we'd love to take our 12 month old DS to lots of new and different places - home is getting boring.

But where can we go? What would a 12-month old enjoy?

The only thing i can think of is the Aquarium in Riverhead. Desparately need some suggestions.

Don't know where you are located but the ecology center in Holtsville is awesome, and it is supposed to be really nice the rest of the week. Best of all its F-R-E-E!!!!

They have a playground, a beautiful area to walk around and an animal refuge where you can feed goats! My DD is 16 months and I've been taking her there since she's 9 months, she loves it.
