eye for tv
Wondering if anyone has one of these where the cable box is in a different location (such as a closet) so I can mount tv on wall and not have to see cable box.
Can you give some recommendations

my brother just installed this for my mother. I dont know the brand but everyrthint is in a closet and it looks awesome. i think he just got it at a regular electronic store

how would this work with the remote?
doesn't it have to be pointing at the cable box in order for you to be able to change the channels?

What you are looking for is called a RF remote. It works over radio frequency as opposed to infa-red that regular remotes use.
Logitech makes a few, they can get kinda expensive but work well and its worth it to clean up the look of you home entertainment system.
