Looking for a caterer

I'm starting to panic with DS's birthday next month. It's at a firehouse so I have to bring all the food in for 100 people! I've never had a party somewhere other than a restaurant, so i didn't think of all the added expenses...plates, napkins, forks, cups, etc. plus the putting out the food, refilling soda, cutting cake. im about to lose my mind. im thinking it may be easier for me (even tho more money) if i hired a caterer to do all this for me. does anyone know of a reasonably priced caterer that will do all i need? btw...party is in lynbrook. TIA! Chat Icon

Re: Looking for a caterer

I had DD's party catered by Zorn's in August. We got a package that had SOOO much food- AND they provided all of the soda, all the paper goods (including napkins, forks, knives, spoons, plates, serving pieces, etc.)

I thought it was more than reasonable.

They only thing they didn't do was the cake (which I ended up making myself- but you could easily find a bakery or something to do the cake.)

They definitely have packages that come with waitress service! We didn't need that, but I know they have it!

My friend & her family own "The Dish" in Stonybrook. DELICIOUS FOOD!

We used for my shower, many family parties, we are using for Joey's 1st birthday.

Re: Looking for a caterer

I think I'm bringing in my own food but just hiring 2 people to set up and clean up the food and serve it. I have the names of 2 companies that were recommended by the hall.
