fever and pregnancy?
is there anything special i can do? i woke up with 100.6 temp and i took some tylenol and it went down now to 99. ill be taking a little more tylenol since i have to go to work. should i call the doctor? i just went there yesterday (ob/gyn)

I would call and just ask them. I know a fever is something that needs to be taken care of during pregnancy, so call and ask them what you should take. I hope you feel better

During the first tri I kept getting low grade fevers. My dr. told me to take tylenol every 4-6 hours as needed and to only be concerned if it got to 101.

they say to call for anything over 100.4 so yes I would call.

eww so rude!! i called and the secretary answered and said that in my packet that i received there should be list ofd meds i could take, and i said ok but its up to 100.5 and going higher so i didnt know when and if i should go to the ER.. her reply was "well then you should see your primary care doctor" and hung up on me!!!! im livid.. mind you im considered a higher risk pregnancy 
i guess ill drink lots of OJ, gatorade, cold cloth on my head and take more tylenol....

OMG! Thats terrible!!! Im sorry she was nasty to you! Hope you feel better! Fevers are the worst!

That is awful that she acted like that! A fever can that your body is fighting an infection, so you think she would be more concerned being that you're pregnant.
If it continues, I'd go see your primary care doc just to be safe.

Call back and ask for your doctor to call you or to speak with the nurse immediately. It's dangerous for you and the baby to have a fever and she should NOT have said anything like that to you. I'm fairly livid about her unprofessionalism and already contemplating a law suit g-d forbid something were to happen. Who the hell does this woman think she is???????
I hope you feel better asap, but this is not something light (fortunately your temp is below 102, but still!!! fever = something is wrong) that you should be self-medicating or diagnosing.
