Email I received at work - thought I'd Share something to do - Duck BBQ in Moriches
Hi,
I Just wanted to let you know about a great event coming up in Moriches. If you have never been to the Duck BBQ at Camp-Pa-QuaTuck in Center Moriches it is a truly wonderful event. This year it is on Sunday September 12th at 12:00.
Over 1,000 people attend every year to eat the delicious duck dinner (this year they have BBQ chicken too) and watch the little duck race and the big duck race. There are many things for the kids to do.
The camp is just a beautiful place to be. For those of you who do not know, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a summer camp for children with special needs. It was founded by the Moriches Rotary in 1946. There is a little more info here

OMG, I was picturing like little ducklings and mommy ducks walking around, and then its like OK, enough of the looking at the cute little ducks....they are not only cute but tasty too, time to eat!

I thought the same thing. The link doesnt work, but I found the site, and it still seems a little sick to be playing with play ducks when you are eating duck.
