OTC Acne Treatment
Can you recommend your OTC acne treatment? I've been breaking out a lot lately - espcially those painful cyst-like pimples. I may need to go back to a dermatologist but I wanted to know if there was anything effective being sold OTC.

For anything cystic is better to see a derm because they can cause scaring.
I feel your pain. For some reason during the summer I tend to get these types of pimples too. One visit to the derm and he zaps it with a bit of cortisone. Gone in less then a week.

Best thing that worked for me was the Clean and Clear in the purple bottle (the one that has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide).

I find the best cleanser are the various Neutrogena Anti Acne Facial Washes. The one I prefer is the pomegranate b/c something in that really helps your skin -- my doc recommended -- and it works great. But for anything serious go see the doc - that's your best bet.
