LIRR girls....
Have you heard about the suspended service? (All lines except Port Washington)
After 2 weeks of working late, I had big plans to leave early today, so I could get back to LI at a reasonable hour! I really hope the trains are up and running soon.

Apparently there was a fire in a switching tower. LIRR is expected to run at 60% capacity during these evenings rush hour.

Yeah my DH finally got to leave very early from work (12:30) for a dr. apt at 1:30 and I ended up having to pick him up (got stuck in horrible traffic) and had to change his appointment to 2:30!

I grabbed my train at Atlantic Terminal Brooklyn...so thankfully I check the train services before leaving every day-I would have been one grumpy preggo if I went to Penn and had to turn around again.
