Re: Those who have been to All Inclusives in Aruba
I've been to Aruba 3 times and have never stayed at an all inclusive. Aruba has GREAT restaurants on the island. Unless you're getting a super deal...I'd stay at a regular hotel and try the restaurants on the island.

I could get a great deal with Divi for under $3k or at the Westin for under $4k

Re: Those who have been to All Inclusives in Aruba
I stayed at the RIU which is all inclusive and I would not recommend it. Aruba has amazing places to eat and all within walking distance from eachother.
If I were to do it again, I would just stay at a Hotel and do my own thing with food and drinks.

Re: Those who have been to All Inclusives in Aruba
I stayed at the Holiday Inn about 9-10 yrs ago. We enjoyed it. But it was my 1st trip to an island and didn't know better. From what I understand Aruba has great restaurants. Next time it won't be an all inclusive.

I go to Aruba every year since my family has timeshare... honestly the restaurants are too good to bother with doing all inclusive there!

same here! Wouldn't do an all inclusive there. Time share is better. stock up the fridge and we bring snacks, beer, water, etc down with us to the beach each day.

Re: Those who have been to All Inclusives in Aruba
We stayed at the Divi and we loved it. We actually stayed on the Tamarjin side because all the rooms are oceanfront.
We went out to eat one night and it was really good but, when we go away, we go for the beach and relaxation. We don't like to be bothered with going places for dinner but, that's just us.

Agreed - Aruba has way too many good places to eat. I love all inclusives, just not here.
However, right in front of the RIU on Palm Beach out on the pier is Bugaloe Bar & Grill. Awesome place for sunsets and live music. Here's their Facebook page which seems to be the most updated.

It used to be called the Kokoa Club for those of us who travelled there in the 90's
