Carpet Stores
I am looking for a neutral tan/ivory 8 X 10 area rug. I have already looked in Homegoods, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, JC Penney and Macys and i have not found anything that I like. Does anyone know of any reputable carpet stores that sell area rugs at a decent price? I was hoping to find something for $300 or under. I am in the Islip area. Thanks!

BJ's actually carries rugs but it seems to be hit or miss for the 8X10's. I think they were between 99-129 last time I saw them.
We're in the market as well for an 8X10 neutral tan rug (preferably plain) and we were planning on hitting BJ's to see if they had any in stock.

We're in the market as well for an 8X10 neutral tan rug (preferably plain) and we were planning on hitting BJ's to see if they had any in stock.
I forgot to mention that, we did go to BJ's too! We did get a rug for our bedroom there, and it was only $100! It looks great but they didn't have anything really neutral-except for a few that were considered indoor/outdoor carpets. They looked a lot like a berber carpet. The ones that were more traditional were multicolored, mostly yellow, gold, ivory and red.

Just got back from here and we found a rug!  We got a 9X12 ivory area rug (it has a floral design in it, but it's all ivory if that makes sense) for $200. It's really nice and exactly what we were looking for so thanks so much for the recommendation!

Thanks for the update and the heads up about BJ's current stock..
I will have to check Pat's out too (we're in Brightwaters) though I won't cross BJ's off yet (only because I have to go for other things anyway)
