big babies and diapers!
So last appt DS was 27" and 17lbs. Size 4 (huggies pure and natural) fit him well them.
Its close to our 5 month appt, and he leaked and the diapers seems a little too tight, so I'm thinking of sizing up to 5. I go online order them and size 5 is the last size
What am I supposed to do at 6m?? What if this kid keeps growing like this?
We've gone up a diaper size each month, this is insane!
Do I have to think of potty training him as soon as he can walk? I mean will I ever find diapers his size by then?

I have found that pampers run the biggest. They go up to a size 7, but its hard to find. BJ's usually sells them or you can get them online.

Re: big babies and diapers!
I found that Huggies run smaller then Pampers. DS is in size 3 Pampers and they fit him great. But size 3 Huggies were snug on him...

My DD is almost the exact same size. We use Earth's Best size 3 and Fisher Price Nighttime size 4 - they both fit well and have some room. Pampers also tend to run bigger. You may just want to try a couple other brands since they're not all cut the same way.

Re: big babies and diapers!
DS was 30 lbs at 1 year so I know your pain.
I used Luvs until size 6. Got them at BJs. NOw I use Pampers size 7. NOt hard to find at all really, BRU carries them. DS is 2.5 and has been in them since probably 20 months or so.
You will be fine. Most kids plateau at some point! I actually have more issues with swim diapers than with regular diapers!

Re: big babies and diapers!
defintly try a different brand. My DD is 10 month, 28 and 3/4 inches tall and 18.9 lbs and wears a size 3 perfectly. We use All different brands, but not the one you mentioned. The Size 3 luvs are actually a bit big on her.

DS is 1/2 lb less and 1 1/2 inches smaller but, fits nicely into Pampers and Target Up and Up sized 3 - so definitely try another size!

Re: big babies and diapers!
For about a month this summer, my DCs were in the same size diapers -- size 6 of Huggies. They were 27 mos and 7 mos old!
Now they're both in a size 5 of a different brand -- Kirkland from Costco. They seem to be the same as Huggies, but the sizes are different and they're cheaper.
Older DS was tubby around the middle just like younger DS is right now, but now that he's a skinny little toddler and has almost NO waist, the size 5 fits him just fine...maybe the same would happen for you?

DD#2(2 yrs 4 months) is huge she is about 38 inches or so and about 40lbs She is wearing Target Brand(UP&UP) size 6 with room to spare. I switched from pampers because they were leaking too much. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Target Brand!
