Need catering recommendations....
My boss is throwing a summer bbq for students/faculty/administration at his house and would like me to coordinate it being catered.
So, his house is in Stony Brook. Please provide me with caterers who serve ribs, chicken, variety of salads, dessert (if possible), etc. His choice (not mine).
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Try Fireside Grill in Commack or Famous Daves (Smithtown) also caters.

Setauket Gourmet Deli in Setauket (used to be called International Deli)
Tuscan Market in Miller Place
I know that Tuscan Market delivers- food is INCREDIBLE! They are also a butcher as well...
We have also used Setauket International for actual BBQs, and they do a really good job as well... they give a lot to the district, so I like to give them the business when we can...

Iavarone Bros. -- their food is absolutely amazing! I grew up near the one in New Hyde Park, but it looks like they're all over the Island now. They can make it all and everything tastes great. Also have wonderful salads, etc. One of the places I really, really miss in NY.

I second Tuscany...we went to a party that they catered this weekend. The food was excellent! We usually buy our meats there as well, so I know they are a really great quality.
