Yes!
Like the other posters said... people will still want to get you gifts so this is a good way to get what you want/ need. Also its a good way for you to keep track of what you still need to get etc... and finally, you will get the 10% off coupon that you can use to purchase the rest of the stuff yourself.

You know even though it might feel wrong you could totally throw one yourself - even though it's much nicer of course to have someone do one for you I think there's nothing wrong with hosting it yourself if you want one!
ETA - and I would DEF register even if you don't want a shower people wlll def still give you things!

I threw myself one! I didn't want to put my family out like that, and I wanted to have it at a restaurant. They prolly would have had it at my moms house. It turned out nice, and I got to plan every detail. Which I drove my sisters nuts over with my bridal shower. My fam was much happier this time around knowing I took care of everything :) Regardless what you do, def register :)
