centerpiece for shower question
we doing a modern pink/black, sex and the city-ish kinda theme for my SIL shower. For the tables we are using white linens, black napkins and i bought a pink/black fabric square to go in the middle, under the centerpieces.
for the tables I bought the large cosmo glasses like these:
For a previous party i used them and filled it with lemon and lime slices. but i kinda want to go with a pink theme for these now. I dont want to put liquid like a cosmo b/c someone will tip it.
So i thought of slicing pink grapefruits and strawberries;
or pink tissue shred??
any thoughts or ideas to fill these?
WOW..THANKS FOR THE IDEAS...how about something like this? pink gel balls..
with maybe a pretty pink or white flower, or just with the beads??

what about pink candy ? Have a little scoop/spoon in each & clear cello bags for guests to put some in. Then it will double as a snack/favor !!

I like the idea of shredded tissue paper or even those decorative stones in pink and clear or black. You can even add a flameless tea light.

We did this theme for my sister...
we used Large martini glasses. We filled the with water and tinted the water light pink
we dropped a light into the glass to make it glow
light up cubes
and we got large hot pink gerber daisies to float on the top.
