spinoff disney: tickets

we are staying at west gate town center. we just need to get tickets. we are going in february (late, into march) not during vacation weeks.

i wanted to let family to buy tickets for the girls to disney for christmas. is this a bad idea?

west gates quoted 2 days +1 free water park at 149.00 per person.

should i just go with them?

a few things to keep in mind:

Over the past couple of years, Disney has increased ticket prices on the first Sunday of August.

Check the Disney website to see what they are offering as far as prices go. You may want to do park hopper tickets so you can use them for more than one park in a single day.

The west gate tickets are for one park a day.

thanks for the reply! i don't think that we are going to hop. we are going to disney only this trip. it's the first one with my 5 & 4 (will be 6 & 5) girls and i'd like for them to savor this. when they get a little older, we can experience the other theme parks... i heard that universal isn't really for their age anyway... (i don't know if this is true, just going by what i heard).

When you say "disney only" I assume that you mean the Magic Kingdom only -not Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom (all Disney parks). Universal is a completely different park.

A two day ticket with water park option for a child (ages 3-9) is $92.50 directly through Disney. An adult ticket through Disney for 2 days with water park option is $104
