question about ultrasound appts
how frequently did you go?
i had the sono at 4 weeks when i first got my BFP, then again this past week at 6 weeks. now i don't go again until the 12 week ultrascreen, does that seem like too big of a gap?? i go in 2 weeks for the new OB appt, but i'm assuming that's just talking to the dr and getting all the vitamin info.
but going through pics on here it seems like most of you have 6w/8/w/10w pics. should i question this?? TIA

Re: question about ultrasound appts
Drs. do sonos differently My dr. traditionally only does one at 12weeks and 20 weeks. Additional sonos are done if needed but that's it!

Re: question about ultrasound appts
I went at 7 weeks, but went back a week later at 8 weeks since we didn't hear a HB. Then I went at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. I have to go back in two weeks since the baby was sleeping face down and wouldn't wake up, so they didn't get any facial measurements. After that it is 32 weeks for my next sono.
So I was supposed to only have 7w/12w/20w/32 weeks, but since we have a stubborn little one on our hands, its turning out to be 7w/8w/12w/20w/22w/32w.
I think your sonos are perfectly spaced and completely normal!

Re: question about ultrasound appts
My OB does them in weeks: 8, 12 (ONLY if opting for the ultrascreen), 17-20 (level II), and *maybe* a growth sono in the third trimester. So between 2-4 total.
