I read your post and I want to add that I know EXACTLY how you feel!

Last year while we were on our Disney vacation in FLA, we had pulled up on the side of the street to park to go eat at a diner in Celebration. Well, I don't know how this happened, and I can blame everyone else who was in the car since I was driving, but I do blame myself for not knowing, but when I pulled up, I had to adjust my car for some reason and after I was done, there was a lot of screaming. Connor, my younger son, must have got out of the minivan right before I adjusted the van on the street/car side and was standing in the street next to the van while I was moving the van a little bit. OMG... I almost died with the what if's. I don't know how in the world that could have happened. There were so many people in that van at the time making so much noise I just didn't know. They are so fast with things they do it can happen to anyone. But I never thought that would happen to me. I am such an advocate of the streets and the kids, etc. I just couldn't believe it. Of course I yelled at him, and everyone else in the van for not paying attention. I do blame myself, but how did nobody notice a big minivan door opening and closing? Thank GOD he was fine, but my heart dropped and I was never so scared in my life. I watch my kids like a hawk and things still happen. This was something though that I will never forgive myself for letting happen. He wasn't even 3 yrs old.

So, I just wanted you to know that you're not alone and that I know things can happen in the blink of an eye. They are so quick it's unbelievable!!!
