SAHM's - tell me about your schedule with your 1(ish) year old?
I think our nap schedule is going to start to change soon, also we're going to start to try to kick the bottle. At the moment we do the following:
6ish - wake up & 6oz bottle 7:30 - breakfast 8:30 - 10am - nap
After he wakes, I change him and we try to get out before lunch.
12pm - lunch 1pm - 6oz bottle 1:30 - 3ish - nap
Usually meet up with friends until dinner time
5pm - dinner 6pm - 7pm - bath & bedtime routine 7pm - in bed.
AT the moment, the morning nap seems to be getting longer, which means he doesn't want to nap again at 1:30, it pushes until 2:30 or so and sometimes he doesn't wake up until 4 which is too close to bedtime and means we can't get out in the afternoon. I'm thinking of trying to hold him off for his morning nap, but not sure how long. Then if he were to nap between say 11 and 1, when would you do lunch & bottle, etc?
Thanks!

Re: SAHM's - tell me about your schedule with your 1(ish) year old?
Recently I am having a tough time with the schedule. DD's are 13 months and this is it currently
7 - wake and 6 oz bottle 8:30 - breakfast 10-12 - nap 12:30 - 5 oz bottle 1:30 - lunch 3:30-4:30 - nap 5:00- 6 oz bottle 6:30 - dinner bedtime - anywhere between 8-10!!!!
I am trying to get them to one nap a day so that they go to bed around 7. Every week I am pushing their morning nap a little later so eventually it will be closer to 12.

I think I'm going to start doing the same. But do you find they're absolute nightmares if they don't have that morning nap? DS gets very manic around 9am if he hasn't had his nap. I would think that eventually he'll make up for the loss of daytime sleep at night (fingers crossed!) and go from 7 to 7 instead of the early wake up at 6, but I am seriously dreading the transistion!

yes my girls are very fussy they need that morning nap. That is why I am hoping I can slowly push it back so they eventually get on 1 nap. Currently now if they don't nap by 10:30 they start to get fussy (when they wake up at 7) sometimes they sleep till 6 or 8 though.
