a wedding dress? DH and I were married last August. I found a picture of a reception dress on this wedding photography blog that I fell in LOVE with and searched for it for months and couldn't find it anywhere. So I emailed the photographer asking if she knew where the bride got the dress from. Thinking it was a long shot, she actually emailed the bride who emailed me saying that I can have her dress, AND that she would let me borrow her $500 Stuart Weitzman heels, earrings, bracelet, and her name started with the same letter as mine so she had a jeweled "E" for her bouquet that she let me borrow. Needless to say, I was floored. This lady didn't know me from a hole in the wall, lived across the country in California, and I could have been a scumbag and not returned the borrowed stuff, not to mention she gave me this beautiful dress that she wore on her special day.

So... I want to pay it forward. I'm keeping the reception dress that she gave me but I want to donate my wedding dress as well as my earrings. I probably have a lot of other things that I could donate as well but can't think of what else someone could use so if you know of someone who needs a dress and some accessories, please let me know. It's a Jessica McClintock, was a size 12 when I bought it but had it custom tailored to my size 4/6. (at the time, I'm expecting and my one leg probably wouldn't fit into it now lol)

That is so nice of you! I'm not sure, but there may be charities that take wedding dresses. I know there are some take prom dresses.
