Anyone get Brazilian done and NOT happy with the results?
I'm so scared that I will be miserable if I get this done. I do NOT want straight hair at all, I just want to lose the frizz and be able to leave my house in the summer without my hair in a clip!
The people that I've seen that had the treatment have very straight, limp hair now. Personally, I do not think it looks good, but then again their hair was straighter than mine in the first place so I'm not sure if mine would turn out the same way.
The girl that does my hair said there are different strengths of the brazilian and she would use the weakest one on me.
Any input based on your own experience would be greatly appreciated!

I have very curly hair and did not want to lose my curls just wanted the no frizz especially when I would go to the salon and get it blown out....
It worked - BUT it didn't last - I did it in March and the frizz is back :( I know that she specifically did the brazilian with the fact that I didn't want to lose my curls in mind.
So I am thankful but wouldn't do it again

So the only reason you wouldn't do it again is b/c you felt the frizz came back too soon? That wouldn't bother me too much since once the cooler weather comes my hair isn't as difficult to manage.
Did you feel that your hair lost volume (was flatter) when you did it?

I got the Brazillian done last night and he told me it only lasts 3 months...some people longer depending on ur hair.
So if you got it done in March it has been 3 months.

I had it done 3 times- calling today to make an appt for the 4th time
my hair is frizz free and is shiny and healthy after- not pin straight, but straight with body

Thanks for the responses! Sorry about the confusion :) I should have specified which Brazilian I was talking about, BUT I'd be curious to know what you thought about the waxing too!
Out of curiosity, has anyone tried the coppola keratin infusion treatment? You can buy it in places like ulta and use it yourself- I believe it's just a keratin-based styling product. It's pricey, but if it works it may be
worth it!

this was me...it lasted such a short time for me it was ridiculous..and I also have ultra curly hair so it did smooth it out but nothing insane in the least

Mine lasted 6 months.
I loved it and plan on doing it again, SOON!
if you use the right products, sulfate free shampoos and well I dont wash daily, I go two days at least...it helps.
