Re: has anyone looked into a loan mod?
I have done many Loan Mods for clients. They are not easy. It is like re-applying for a new loan, plus you have to give reasons why you need it. (hardship letter) Then you have to wait....wait....wait....wait.
I guess you get the picture. Any questions you can FM me anytime.

I don't know anyone who has had luck. I'm in the middle of trying to do this 8 months later.
These banks suck.

Re: has anyone looked into a loan mod?
I've worked on several successful loan modifications. However, they were all in foreclosure. When the homeowner has an attorney and the courts are involved, the lenders tend to cooperate. As the attorney, I work directly with the lender on the modification. At the same time, I deal with the foreclosing attorney and attend all settlement conferences with the court.
