Hyatt in Maui and Kauai?

Has anyone stayed here? My husband and I are thinking of booking a trip in September - 7 days in Maui and 7 days in Kauai and our travel agent recommended the Hyatt.

We stayed at both and loved them. They are beautiful properties and service was great. I will say 7 days is a lot of time for Kauai though, it's a very quiet island.

Yes! We stayed at both for our HM. THe one in Kauai is sooo beautiful and relaxing!!! Amazing service and the property is gorgeous! Lots of great places to eat and near lots too.

Def do a snorkeling trip while you're there and some other excursions.

Maui is real nice too. Not as spaced out as Kauai. When we were there Bon Jovi was putting on a concert for Allstate employees so it was a bit hectic, but we did have a great time.
If you're adventerous do the biking down the volcano. You have to be up early... like 2AM or something, but worth it then sleep by the pool

Get the brunch every morning for both places. It's excellent!

They Hyatt in Kuai is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed at - And DH and I have stayed at some pretty swanky places ..........I'm still chasing that place's perfection -

We stayed in the Four Seasons in Maui, and it was nice, but didn't compare to the Hyatt in Kuai ...........DEFINITELY stay there !!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai. Beautiful hotel, they have great pools and restaurants, very clean, good location. The only complaint I have about it is that it was too big. Which doesnt seem like a big deal, but I found that doing things like going to the beach, getting towels, going to the gym, etc, was always a major hike from wherever I was, so I ended up just not doing them. They originally put us in a room that was as far from the lobby as you could get, you literally had to go down 5 major hallways to get there. Eventually I had them switch our room.

But other than that, it was a great hotel.

We stayed there and no complaints.... its lovely the one in Kauai is really beautiful. The offer free breakfast

You may want to split up your hotel location in Kauai and stay a couple of nights on the north side of the island (Princeville)...We stayed in Poipu the whole time and it was a long drive to the north side and had wanted to stay in Hanalei and check it out more.

Also, I have to recommend Na Pali Catamaran out of Hanalei...it was our favorite day on the vacation!

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai for our honeymoon for 6 nights and LOVED it! It was truly one of the most amazing hotels we've ever stayed in! In Maui we stayed at the Westin in their brand new North Tower timeshare, we had a one bedroom for 7 nights which was great! We kept some beer and munchy food for when we came back to the room! The Hyatt in Maui is very nice also, but we rented the 1bedroom for $1200 for the WEEK!!! MUCH cheaper than Hyatt!

We stayed in the Westin Villa's on Kaanapali Beach, it was amazing...but we did visit the Hyatt and it was very nice, very tropical looking, we had our couples massage there.
No matter where you stay you will Love Maui!

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai for our honeymoon and several of our friends have gone. We all loved it. In Maui we stayed at the Fairmont & loved it.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai and loved it. In Maui we stayed at "The Inn at Mama's Fish House" and the Four Seasons. Loved those too...

If you go to Maui, you MUST go to Mams's Fish House for dinner. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO delicious.
