Which double stroller would YOU get and why? With poll...
I am torn between the City Mini Double and Bumbleride Indie Twin.
They both have pros and cons...
Which would you get and why?
Here is my list of pros and cons...
Bumbleride Indie Twin: http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=17236458&
Pros –
Can be used to “light” jog with (although not sure if I will ever really do this… DH might…) Flat seat back Large storage basket Footrests
Cons –
Price $$$ ($250 more than City Mini) 34 lbs Size (larger than city mini) Folds in steps (I think) 90 lb weight limit
City Mini Double: http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=118314&
Pros –
Price ($250 cheaper than Bumbleride) 26 lbs Folds very easily 100 lb weight limit
Cons –
Seat backs are concave… DS seemed uncomfortable in Buy Buy Baby & friend says her kids dislike the seats. Can’t be used as a jogger Fabric seems a little “flimsy” Smaller storage basket

you can order back boards for the city mini that stiffens the back so the kids are not so sunken in. I just ordered one for my single mini ($11.95)

Phil and Ted - i love the configuration of the seats (lower and higher) and can be single or double (double seat is removable) and is a really smooth ride. It also has a high weight limit and even with heavy kids is a smooth ride.

This is good to know. Ryan is not a fan of the seats in this. I still use the carrier attachment on it so Colin hasn't tested it out yet.

I have a bugaboo and a double sit and stand.
Whatever a stroller costs, I would pay it. the difference between these 2 are night a day. I believe with strollers, you get what you pay for.
eta: i never considered a city mini...but did a bumbleride. my #1's legs are just so long though. if he was younger i would have went that route...well in honesty, i would have a mountain buggy.

I have the bubleride twin and we are very happy with it. It folds pretty easy once you stretch your arms out far enough. It has a great ride and my boys are very comfortable in it.
The one con i have found with the stroller is that I don't think the back sits up straight enough - we just put a blanket behind my older ds so he can sit up a little more. The snack tray has to be bought separately $40 Other than that I love it
FYI - I got ours brand new on ebay for over 100 less than in the stores.
