remember, when Gulliver traveled....

so last night I got home to a Proflowers box...
my aunt and her husband sent me flowers for my birthday (which is monday) with a card that said "b/c it always seems to be forgotten" and they wanted me to know that they hadn't.
that was followed by my first official mother's day card, from my husband's sister, telling me they appreciate what I do for our family (their family).
I sat on my bed staring at my son whom I had just nursed to sleep and bawled my eyes out. he is so good. he is so healthy and robust. he is so beautiful. and he is mine.
and at that moment I was just so touched by the kindness of my aunt and my SIL, and of the grace God has shown me with my son.
I know maybe I seem "extreme" sometimes when I post about him...but if you knew me, and knew my life up until now, maybe I wouldn't seem so "weird" 
anyway, I realized it is very hard for me to accept "good" and it's easier for me to process bad things. I am totally out of my element with all of this happiness but I am so much more grateful than words could ever express.
but I feel I have to get them out to someone...anyone who will listen to them, lest karma think I don't appreciate all that has come round to me.
thank you for letting me get that out. again.

Enjoy it you deserve it. I know how you feel. Sometimes I look at DH & DD & think how did I get so lucky.
I've decided not to overthink it anymore and just bask in it.

I too am struck by these moments of utter happiness and thankfulness for DS, his health, and all that I have been blessed with. Sometimes I don't feel I am deserving of it all.
