Hospital turned me away for induction

Yep, you read that right. lol

I showed up at Huntington Hospital at 7am as requested, got up to the labor & delivery ward only to be sent home. They had no room in labor and delivery and the maternity floor was full!!

I left there crying my eyes out. I had gotten myself ready, woke up early etc only to be turned away.. sooooo disappointing.

So.. now I have to go back and be there at 6:30 tomorrow morning.

Keep your fingers crossed that everything works out.

That sucks! But at least you won't be stuck in some random room in some random ward in the hospital. Tomorrow you'll hopefully have a comfy room and there will be more attention for you without a full ward. Hang in there and good luck!

That happened when I was pregnant with DD - Stonybrook just got too busy and I was sent home...i know how you feel - i was so upset and drained from that day..goodluck!

I would be upset and furious (even though i don't think they had much of a choice???).


I know how much u must have prepared for today----to get turned away is so annoying.

Awe that is heart breaking...tomorrow will be here before u know it. Get those feet up and try to rest.
