How often does your DH/significant other go with you....
to your OBGYN appts.?

He only comes to the big ones.
So the first one, and then the three big sonograms so far. He is going to try to make my 28 weeks appt because I may get another sonogram.
My appointments are literally five minutes now. They check my urine, listen to the heartbeat and ask if I have any questions- he doesnt have to be there for that. I dont even want to go LOL

He went for the Level II- we were also getting amnio results that day.
He came with me to my last 2 growth sonos- I'm having them often now.
He also came to one other appt that was just a basic one- a few weeks back.
He was with me at my amnio of course.
He did not come to the first appt- he was working and his job is not flexible with time off.
Basically if he happens to be off- and it's something more than just the standard BP, pee in a cup, 5 min appt- he will come.

DH went to all my sonos at the RE because they were early in the morning. Since going to the ob he has gone to my both my Level II. He needs to save his vaca time for when the baby comes. I don't see a reason for him to come just for a urine sample, and blood pressure.

He was only able to make the Level II so far.
My appointments usually end up being right in the middle of the afternoon & it makes it harder for him to get out of work to make them.
I was glad he got to come to the Level II though - his face was priceless when he saw DS for the first time on the screen

For my 1st PG, he went to 2 or 3 visits, I think.
For this one, none.
But, my OB is in the city (where I work) and he works in LI, so he would literally have to take 1/2 a day off to go with me.
It doesn't bother me though.

Luckily for me, DH has a very flexible work sked, so he comes to every appt with me.

Thank you! I was unsure if DH should come to my appt today. They are doing another sono so I told him to come. I am only 8w/6d, but I just get so nervous and since i'm still in my 1st tri. I rather him there with me.
I really need to kick this anxiety that something is going to go wrong. I have no idea why I feel this way and no reason to think something is wrong. I just have this fear that is uncontrollable!

He goes to every one.
I know it's unnecessary, but we work together and they have been very good to us about this whole thing. I just schedule them at the end of our day and we leave a little early.

You feel this way b/c you are pregnant! LOL we all went through it!
Don't worry at some point ( at least for me ) instead of worrying about the appointments, I just get annoyed that I have to go LOL

pretty much he only goes to the ones with the sono. The other ones are just really check ups and the only thing he's missing is hearing the heartbeat, but for him to take off for every appt it would be really hard.

Only the ones that we have a sono.
Otherwise, no need for him to go with me to see my pee in a cup and get my fat azz weighed! 
With DD he did come to one of my last trimester appointment with me because we both had questions about my induction and he wanted to be there.

never to my OB appts, just the very first one. he comes w/ me for the ultra screen and growth sonos bc I go to the hospital for those. I always see Dh's w/ the wives at my OB office. Dh works in the city so he is never around to come with me
I don't really see the point of him being there anyway, the appts are like 5 minutes and not very exciting
THose of you that DH goes to every appt, how? do they take off from work for each one?

Almost all of them. I only drive very locally so he has to drive me. His job is very easy going when it comes to him leaving early.

He came to every appt until I realized it was not necessary. Since I'm not working right now, I decided to make my appts during the late morning (while he's working) so that we can spend more time together at night when he gets home.
It it's a BIG appt, I make it for night time and he comes.

With DS he really just came to the big sono appts. This time he came to the first few (we were with an RE and had a history of MC so those were crucial) but hasnt come to any since the NT scan this time but it doesnt bother me.

He has come with me to every appt so far, but that's because I've had either a sono or it was the first time hearing the heartbeat. My next appt is the first one where nothing exciting will happen (LOL) so I don't think he's coming with me to that one.
