speaking of strep b
a friend of mine just had a test done..
they swabbed her hooha... AND her butt?!?!
is this natural? common? i'm totally freaking out!

They usually swab along the area between your v-jay and butt.
ETA It doesn't hurt at all, you barely even notice it.

Yes, they swab both...seriously, compared to giving birth and being spread eagle for all to see, this is not a big deal.

LOL I remembered only because out of the 8 females and 1 male at my ob practice the day my butt has to be swabbed is the day I got the one male. LOL!!!! I was soooo embaressed until I ofcourse gave birth.
