Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyones stayed at the Sandals Regency in st. lucia? Any recommendations of restaurants or room categories? My husband just surprised me with an early mothers day present :)

Re: sandals st. lucia
We stayed there for our HM & LOVED it.
We stayed in the Penthouse Suites on the Ocean Bluff side. We were the last room at the end of the building, top floor & had THE most spectacular view of the entire island. It was also very private.
This room catergory included butler service - which was great. They unpack for you, will bring you your lunch where ever you are at the resort. They would set up our breakfast every morning on the balcony & just knock on our bedroom door that "breakfast was served".
We came back to our room every night to lit candles, rose petals, music planning, bathtub drawn.
The resort is beautiful, the people are very friendly. The food was ok - its is what it is for being on an island. We did LOVE the french resturant there though - La Tok & the carribbean one for lunch.
We are HOPING to go back there & book our original room for our 5 year anniversary next year

I didnt stay at the Regency but I visited there! I did however stay at the Grand! They are both beautiful resorts! Regency is much more spread out and I know they have some rooms up on cliff and some down in the main area. Don't know if that helps or not?

We went on our HM. Had the butler service too. Loved it!!! They give you a cell phone you carry and you can call and have food delivered wherever you are.
We loved all of the restaurants. Not one bad thing to say about the resort.

we had their butlers in jamaica -- AMAZING.
they will unpack for you if you want, set everything up, do a great turn-down service in the evening, they will bring you breakfast in bed, they will set ALL your dinner reservations and escort you to dinner and get you the best tables, etc. the list goes on! they were amazing - always showing up poolside with drinks and whatever we wanted to eat. fantastic!!!!

Re: sandals st. lucia
I was married and HM there. AMAZING!! I cant wait to go back one day. I have NO complaints. The food was good at all the restaurants especially the La Toc (French cuisine).
We also had the Ocean Bluff Butler suites but the rest of my family paid for the oceanview regular rooms around the pool and their rooms were beautiful as well (and about $4k less )
We visited the Grand and though it was nice, I thought it felt a little too much like a large hotel whereas the Regency felt like a small village.
The staff is amazing, friendly and over accommodating. I highly recomend the Regency.
I have some wedding pics in my album but you dont see much of the resort.
Have Fun
