DS 7 weeks and everyone quit washing hands, etc! Vent

I just want to vent for a minute...

DS will be 7 weeks on Wed. In the last three or so weeks I feel like the Purell goes untouched unless someone just came back from farming dingleberries...

It's not just that either- he will be getting shots next week so I should "take him everywhere". Well, last I checked shots did not protect him from the common cold or the majority of flu strains (and I doubt someone at a family party has rubella or something, lol...) So, I still feel like I should be careful.

I don't want to wrap my kid in bubble wrap or stick him back into my uterus but I just feel like the cleanliness and other forms of protection were like a novelty that faded fast.

Just annoyed about it... and still keeping the pumps of sanitizer everywhere but now I feel like I should make a sign that says STILL USE!

I think it is valid for you to be annoyed about people slacking on washing their hands or using Purell. I still tell people to wash their hands when they come in our house and DD is almost 4 months old!
