Sock Store??
Does anyone remember a big sock store in Nassau County, I believe it was in an industrial area?
I distinctly remember going there with my mother, bc it was cheap, but she seems to think I'm crazy!
Does anyone remember this place???? I need to find various colored socks and this place was a mecca for them in the 80's/90's!

I remember that!! I think it was in New Hyde Park near the train station (i grew up there)...i remember riding my bike there with a friend in 10th grade to get slouch socks in all kinds of colors

I was just there this past weekend. Call before you go b/c the hours are weird. I remember when the prices were much better but I think b/c of the economy, things have increased. If you catch some things on sale, it might be worth it. That being said, I still got a few things. I still had fun looking at everything!
