If you have stayed at Mohonk Mountain House
I am trying to get a sense of pricing for suites/rooms online and I can't figure out which rooms are suites. Anyone know?

We've only stayed in a normal room. It was about $500. Not sure how much a suite is but I'm guessing it would be $700+?

Suites/junior suites are $685-810. Lake View Suite is $1800 and Mountain View tower suite is $2500.
When are you going? We have a GC for 2 nights that I want to use this summer.

we are just going back and forth with what we are going to do this summer...
Do you know if they have babysitters there, so we could have dinner at night??

I asked about that--this link explains the babysitting--I think your DD and my DS (he's 9 months) are too young for most of the kid babysitting/activities. They said (I think--confirm this though) that there is a more informal family dining room where you can eat with DC, but I don't think there are babysitters for that age to go to the formal like 6-course dinner. Maybe they let you hire the day counselors for night? Not sure about that.

Re: If you have stayed at Mohonk Mountain House
yeah- I was looking at that. It's so hard. We were going to do a beach rental, but we did it last year-- and I forgot that I hated having to clean the place, etc. for the next tenant. Let alone not having it professionally cleaned before we got there...
I just want to find a nice suite in a hotel, in an area where we can all have fun AND find babysitters so we can go out at night. Not easy!!

we were just discussing this as well. We would love to go somewhere this summer, but we also want a night out for ourselves..

FYI, you can stay there during the Fall for 199.00 during the week!
A great value if you can get away mid week.
