Pack and Play and all the extra parts. Agh!
So like everyone, we registered for a pack & play that has the changer & bassinet feature.
Well DS is almost 15 mos and we've used it once. No joke. We're in a ranch condo and both my MIL/Mom have cribs and DS is great car sleeper so we never needed it.
The 1 time we used it, I didn't use all the parts, just the base anyway.
I know we'll hang on to it for future kids, but my issue is all the parts that come with it. Will I regret getting rid of all those metal rods & mobile & crap? Honestly, it takes up so much room on my DS's closet floor, plus, he now can open his closet and likes to play with them (big no-no). I'm pretty sure when we have baby #2 I'd may borrow a bassinet for our room (DS never slept in our room, but future DC would share with DS). Also, if we moved and got a 2 story house, I can't see myself using the pack & play's changer. I'm extremely laid back and I've changed DS anywhere.
So, my question, you think its a'ok to chuck all those parts? Like I said, I'd still have the pack & play, but then its more like a play pen.
Thanks from a mom desperately looking to get rid of stuff.

My DS is 9 weeks & I already threw out the changer b/c I would never use it.
The light/music thing, DS hated it but I didn't get rid of it in case the next baby actully liked it.
