Which will make taxes go up more
building up (2nd floor)
or out?
and which is more costly?
Or is it one of those things where the difference is minimal either way you look at it?

I believe out bc you are changing o the footprint of the house. That's what someone told me, I am not sure if its true or not.

Yes this is correct. Building up won't raise it much but out will because you are changing the footprint.

Yes this is correct. Building up won't raise it much but out will because you are changing the footprint.
yes, but going up costs more in construction costs then out, but at least you pay it in one shot and not over time
