I just got bitten by a dog!
Totally unprovoked while I was running in my neighborhood.
A little dog, but still painful. Broke the skin too, so now i have to hope it doesn't get infected 
i am SO SO SO SO SO upset. i rang the doorbell of the owners and went off on them.
why can't people contain their pets?!?!?

I would be really ******. I will never understand people who don't have their dogs either securely in the house, or fenced in, or something. I have had several dogs charge at me while walking my own dog, and it is terrifying (esp the bigger dogs). Fortunately they have all been friendly so far, knock on wood. But it astounds me tht people aren't more concerned - about the welfare of passers by, AND of their own pets! Sorry this happened to you, and feel better soon!

That makes me so angry when a dog is outside without his owners or without a leash. There is a min pin on our block and everyday we walk our two pit mixes and everyday the dogs sees us and comes running after us for about a half a block. The other day the father was outside and said oh he wont hurt you he'll only follow you a few houses down. I told him his dog should be on a leash and not to assume my LEASHED dogs wont hurt him or that he wont get hit by a car. Yesterday, he almost got hit by a car. Owners, no where in site! UGH!

oh no! i hope you are ok. not sure if it's too late but you might want to try icing the area to minimize swelling. what did the owners say when you confronted them?

thats horrible.... peroxide alcohol and neosporin it ALOT... def get it chcked out. my friends own dog "scraped her hand w/ his tooth" and it did get infected. maybe doc has a strong antiseptic
