Sort of silly question, AF and sono
So the RE wants me to come in tomorrow, cd4, for blood work and a sono. So my question is.....they really do an internal sono during AF?

Nope...
Always waited in the exam room, nekkid from the waist down...
I know it's gross.... I was so  the first time.
After a while, you just get used to it... sadly enough.

I was shocked and appalled at the mere thought of it, at first. Now its routine. These people have seen it all, don't give it a second thought!

I actually thought my period was over when i went for my first sono this cycle and low and behold he was down there and said oh u have ur period. I was friggin mortified they really think nothing of it. They have seen it all.

I had my first one last Friday  I was so embarassed  I mean how much more uncomfortable can this get right  But, you have to keep in mind that doctors have seen it all, plus it's no suprise to them when they see you have your period - it's a requirement for the CD3 sono!

I'm glad it was ok and you got it over with!!
I was so by this too at first.... but really the RE is soooooooooooooooo used to it and sees people for monitoring appts during AF allllll the time!!!!!!!
Now you can move forward with the rest of the cycle and get on a protocol!!!  CD3 is where all the excitement begins!!
