Mrs Negativity here...
I am so over it and can't stop crying. I am exhasted, haven't gotten a real sleep in a week. My allergies are horrible. I just left a message for dr asking if I can take anything. He is really against meds, but I don't know what to do. Tomorrow is week 10, I have already thrown up twice this morning. My mother wants to take me to the ER, she thinks I am dehydrated. It is too much now. I don't function. I try and try to be happy, but I am sick all the time. I am so hungry.
Poor Leo trys and trys. yesterday was his last day of school, and he comes home to this pathetic wife who can't cook and looks like sh!t.
oh update, while I am typing, make that 3 times this morning. I am happy a baby is coming and I know how fortunate I am, but I think this is the darkest time of my life. I can't be sick anymore. When people say after 12 weeks it gets better, I find that so hard to believe. I want to be normal again, and I don't think it will ever go back to being normal. My gums are so gross.
Everytime a burger king commercial comes on I have to close my eyes. Its like a horror show.
sorry

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
I know how you feel, I dont feel the same either and I too want to know when I will feel better. My allergies kill me at night, I havent thrown up "yet" but its right there at my throat. I feel yucky everyday, I have no energy, cant sleep, I too feel like I look like crap too. Every 3 hours I am so hungry like I never ate a thing allday. Bathroom runs, LOL, I didnt know I can pee so much. I am soooooooo grateful for this baby, I am super duper happy but I too cant wait till I feel like my normal self. Hang in there, 2 more weeks for you!!!!!! My doctor said we will def feel better and then feel yucky again towards the end.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
I promise you it will get better. I didn't even have morning sickness, but did have severe exhaustion and allergies. I made a thread like this too when i was just so at the end of my rope and everyone reaffirmed to me that it would get better soon and it did! By week 12 your m/s should be gone and your energy level will show up overnight (i know you don't believe that because i didn't but really one day i was able to stay up almost 3 hours later then i was and it never went back to what it was). You will have a new energy back by week 12 - just as the summer starts.
Just try and hang in there over the next two weeks and drink lots of water.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
I think you should take Benedryl for the allergies. It won't help with the morning sickness, but it should ease some of the discomfort from your allergies. It will get better!!!!

That stinks that you are going through this! I hope it gets better soon, you deserve a break.
I second the BK commercials - they should be filtered out while we have m/s!
PS - I just looked up Bendaryl and it is a Class B drug - No evidence of risk in humans (safe but class A iis safest but no antihistamines are A). Claritin is also class B and doesn't have the drowsiness side effect...but ask your dr first and make sure to explain that you're miserable and have to take SOMETHING

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
I hear ya. I'm so tired of only being able to eat bagels. I've eaten three pieces of meat in the past 16 weeks. I'm sooo tired and my face is so broken out. I feel ugly and useless. I'm so grateful for the baby- more than anything. But this first trimester is really hard.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
If you are throwing up that much everyday ask your OBGYN about Zofran. We asked and my doc said how often am I barfing? I told her 3 to 4 times a week and she said if you told me 3 to 4 times a day I would give it to you. So maybe you can get it. Feel better!!

I agree with Stacey. It's tough enough being pregnant & dealing with the hormone changes. Talk to your ob about the morning sickness if it doesn't let up.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
I would also speak with your doctor about the severity of your morning sickness.
I also had really bad MS. It lasted to week 25, unfortunately, for me. It was hell and I know what you are going through. I typically pulled over on the northern state about 2-3 times every morning on the way to work because I couldn't get there in time.
What I did find helped was making sure that I ate some dry carby starch type food as soon as I woke up (like crackers or a half bagel or something like that) and drinking lemonaid. I read that lemonaid helped and tried it and it really worked, although I don't understand why.
In the end you end up with a beautiful baby and you forget all about the MS, enough so that you very well might one day want to go through it all over again.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
thanks everyone doctor said no otc and no class b's yet. I cried to him that I am never going to get pregnant again my appt next week should be interesting. He probably can't wait to see me in person again.
DH bought this great hudmidifier yesterday. A little moisture in the air def helped me out last night. I was able to sleep for 4 hours straight. Only sick once today. I was going to call in, but this is my last full week of work till I move and I want to make sure everything is in good standing before I go. I think I am going to check out early today though. I would love to avoid afternoon traffic.
Thanks again. Next week I will ask dr. about that Zof-? for the sickness.
The delivery guy at work just brought someone an edible arrangement, I wanted to jump him. I think I am going to order one for myself.

Re: Mrs Negativity here...
My sister had MS with both pregnancies, very bad in both cases, but worse with the second. She almost got hospitalized but her Dr. put her on the Zofran and she improved immediately. The rest of her pregnancy she felt great and looked wonderful.
