Breast pump/bottle question
I have the Medela PIS. Do the lantanoish bags and bottles attach to this pump or should I return those and get the medela ones? Thanks! My little guy is almost here and I wanna be totally prepared

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
I'm not sure about the Lansinoh bottles but the bags do not attach to the pump only the medela ones. What I usually do it pump into bottles and them poor them into the Lansinoh bags because the Medela bags are more $$

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
Good idea! And the bags work good when you freeze/defrost them?

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
I would pump in a bottle 9i use the medela bottles) and then transfer the milk to the bags. Its so much easier this way IMO. I would use the Lantanoish (sp?) bags over the Medela bags because a) they are cheaper and b) because they are longer than the medela ones...when you lay them down flat in the freezer...they freeze nice and flat...so much better to store.

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
I agree with the OP's, and I find the Lansinoh bags to be more sturdy. They don't leak nearly as often as the Medela bags do when defrosting.

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
Yes, they work great! Just remember to take the air out of the back after you poor the milk in and before you seal.

Re: Breast pump/bottle question
Honestly I never tried. I think Medela bottles come with the Medela pump so I just used those and bought a few extra.
